EDIT: Also after having rewated the series Penny and Launchpad do not date due to their first date being as Launchpad put it "a disaster" but they do remain close friends.

@@megaman37456 First off, Penny DOES say she's not interested in men, she says it in the very episode you're talking about. Remember? "I'm just not interested in dating an Earth... male." And Sam King, one of the series' storyboard artists flatout stated that Penny is a lesbian. So, no I'm not making this shit up, the show itself and the people who made it are. Unlike you, I actually did my research.
