rakesh palavar buy a Dragy and measure the 0-60 times with chip on/off. 320 hp or 350 hp is not a difference you can feel easily.

J-Msterdam 30bhp is an easily noticeable difference, it’s almost an extra 10%. You’d definitely be able to tell, the problem is they always exaggerate these boxes

Cam Jackson absolutely noticed it when i had the tuning box set to Map 5 which is the highest ! And no they actually do what it says on the tin! Ive always got the power they quoted give a few extra 1/2hp due to my set up.... but the real difference is in a real ECU MAP! Check out my other videos

YashOfficial I know about remaps mate😁 would never waste my time with a box. Darkside Developments tested all these boxes on dunk and not a single one came close to the claims. I’d check it out - some good food for thought

@@yashofficial___ Don't get you. Default setting is 3. 0 is stock. You should go for dyno on setting 3 and setting 5 to see the difference.

icytrampoline no this car stock is 300hp plus the mod bolt ons i.e backbox delete and intake gave it 20hp so 320hp then racechip gave it an extra 30hp so total 350hp

If this is a RaceChip S... didn't it pretty much do what it promised to do? On their website for the S model they promise 348 hp (300+48) and on the dyno you got 349.9hp.

I bought one of these for my 2018 tiguan only bc no one has a tune for it yet. It's a piece of crap. No different in throttle response or power noticed (gave it 1k miles as well) I had 2013 tiguan with GIAC stage 2 & by s4 with JHM tune with amazing results.

If it was the smalest one you definetly wont feel anything and those boxes are not for throttle response ..... . and of course you get more power out of stage 2 tune ..... but it will cost a lot more then this boxes. you have to see this in relation to costs and what you get

I just installed gts black chip non Bluetooth on a 2011 n63 x5 50i v8 last night and it was instantly noticeable on their factory setting #5. Zero issues. Car feels 40% more nimble now. Will do max setting today and test drive. Caveat, DO NOT think you can use this chip if you are not on top of maintenance...you will be sorely disappointed. Flush engine, change trans filter and fluid, diff fluid, etc. Make sure there is absolutely NO prior issues of any kind before attempting this. It's not their fault if you have a crappy condition car.

Don't forget to clean your fuel system and get a replacement fuek filter with a higher pressure rating. One of the ways race chip gains power is through increasing fuel pressure at the rail. So if you have dirty injectors or a clogged or low flow filter, you may not see the advertised results.

@@spencerquimby4726 After a few months of using the device, I uninstalled it. It appears that it causes spark plugs to foul up very quickly then leading to misfires. Car is completely refreshed with all sensors, pumps, filters, pcv etc.. no issues stock, only when using this device. Would not recommend.

@@bmwchannel7209 Interesting, haven't had that issue yet. Running mine on a 2.0L VW TSI engine and the first thing I did before I stalling was upgrade the ignition system. Spark plugs one heat range lower than factory and Audi R8 coil packs. Sounds like you may be having an issue with fuel/air ratios though if your plugs are fouling up. A less restrictive intake or new MAP/MAF sensor might help.

@Spencer Quimby 100% air fuel mix issue. But Ia not interested in a product that is advertised as plug and play yet requires other mods to play nice. If that were the case I would just go all the way and upgrade all systems with bigger turbo.

@@bmwchannel7209 Yeah that's fair, they do say plug and play. I asked their customer support beforehand if any supporting mods were needed like a new downpipe or high flow intake and they said no. I had already done a few things on my car though like intake manifold upgrade and a new stronger diverter valve.

Your number plate is not legal - the spacing is wrong. Where were the safety cables to stop the car moving on the RR? Also, did you let the engine cool down before fitting the chip and did you run the chip in as the makers designed? To me, the entire set up looked very dodgy. You should get a real custom remap from a place that knows what they are doing. Many chip boxes just increase the fuel pressure - beyond safe limits in the case of some Race Chip solutions! Amateurs.

hahah normally I wouldn't waste my time on a negative reply! but your comment was the only thing that was amateur, did you think I installed my race chip that very second and went dyno? if thats the case then you need to stop assuming because I had the race chip running for over a month before I took it dyno ! also the car was safely strapped.. and if you watched the rest of my videos you'd see that I did get a remap done. I simply made these race chip videos to help other people pick what they want.
