Y’all I just wanna mention one thing when Ammar mentioned not losing anything or missing out on anything. I feel like he is doing it in the point of view of a man. Like things we missed out on is literally as simple as being comfortable like in the sense of the hijab. My sisters can support me on this. Their are moments when we get ready and the hijab is just so annoyingly not fitting right and it feels so uncomfortable that you wanna rip it off, or when it’s so hot but you still have to be wearing the hijab. And it would be so much more comfortable if we took the hijab off, but I still do it for the sake of my deen and for the love of Allah. Their are thing that we are missing out on, just as simple as laying down in a park, man, like bro I just wanna lay down but I can’t because I was taught it would be haram, and travelling as well, I have to take a man with me when a dude can just travel were ever without the need to ask permission or a mahram with him. I’m mentioning this because no one really seems to mention what us women miss out you know. Like bro some people believe that women getting up and doing public speech is haram (even though its 100% halal). We can just throw the fact its not Islam blah blah blah, but people preach these things with the name of Islam so instead of just sitting and just ignoring it you should go ahead and speak against it.

@Anonymous Its a free world, we choose what we believe in, if something doesnt fit right with you and youre not willing to question it then its a deeper problem within you. belief and faith in god (or anything spirtual) is a personal thing, YOUR suppose to choose YOUR beliefs, not have someone else tell you what to believe in. I get the being surrounded by weirdos part but thats a problem with indoctrination, that exists everywhere, it isnt good enough for me to become an alcoholic just because the rest of my family are, if i do then i failed just like they did. Believing in god means believing in god, not in what everyone else says. Trust your heart
Anonymous 5 ай бұрын
@Jamal People don't question them because they are surrounded with their parents and imams and sheiks that preach those types of thing so they feel like what they say is the truth and that questioning them is invalid and their is no point.
Jamal 6 ай бұрын
if you decide to follow stupid beliefs and ideas about what women can and cannot do because thats how you were taught and youre not willing to question them then its your fault

Of course religion still appeals to people. It’s just that certain religions are being abandoned in favor of ones that have a more deeply spiritual framework. For example here in America, many people are abandoning the mainline Protestant churches because of their hyper focus on simple cultural conservatism, in favor of Orthodox Christianity. Many of them leave to be Atheist, but the large chunk that leave for another religion leave to a more self-contained spiritual belief.

Mashallah great episode. A genuine question here - guest speaker has tattoos on his hand. I believe tattoos are prohibted in Islam?
Muaazah 6 ай бұрын
@Basmala Saad no there are not. Muslims aren't allowed to have tattoos because it causes unnecessary pain and changes the creation of Allah. (Satan) whom Allah has cursed. For he had said, “I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion. And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them (sinful) desires. And I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle. And I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah (i.e. tattoo themselves).” Quran 4: 118-121 (Tattoos are also forbidden in Christianity)

Some scholars, ayatollah sayyid Ali Sistani r.a. in particular, take the opinion that tattoos are halal and don’t prevent wudhu as the ink is under the skin. The guest speaker follows this opinion

I respected you guys, until you guys brought this man on this channel. He called Abu Bakr(RA) and Khalid ibn Waleed(RA) thugs. If the Pakistani brother is Sunni, how you accepting such people on your podcast. Do you have no love for the companions of the Prophet?

@Royal Rahim do Shias not have terrorists? Let's not talk about the Shia death squads in Iraq or the crimes hesbullah have commited. And what about the Iranian militias in Syria. Even historically, Shia caliphates were known to be particularly horrific. Look up the Fatimids in Egypt or how the safavids in Iran in the 16th century. Please look up your history before you make stupid and baseless claims. Secondly, can you please provide me evidence for Khalid ibn Waleed doing that. Thirdly, your sources claim that happened, we believe Fatima and Abu Bakr reconciled. Shia hadith are known to be very dubious. You have liars in ur chains of narrations and missing links all the time. Furthermore, the vast majority of your hadith coming from 2 narrators which is quite pathetic tbh. So I don't accept your sources. If you want to convince a Sunni of your ideology, provide them with sources they accept.

What Sayed Ammar said is completely correct. Terrorist groups today follow the same ideology and are inspired by these ppl. Khalid bin Waleed literally beheaded Malik bin Nuawayrah (RA), a companion of Rasool Allah (SAW) because he refused to give bayah to Abu Bakr and he illegally married his wife Layla :( Abu Bakr also angered Fatima (SA) so much to the point that she died angry with him. Rasool Allah (SAW) said whoever angers Fatima angers me, and naturally whoever angers the prophet (SAW) angers Allah swt. These acts I mentioned are the acts of thugs and it’s not surprising that terrorist back then inspire terrorist today. If u behead ppl who don’t give u bayah and force others to pledge allegiance, is that a rightful ruler or a thug? Be honest. Salaam wa Alaykum

Been watching and suppotive for a while but really saddened of u getting him on. If nakshawani insulted your mother would u be this freindly with him, nowhe insults the wives of the prophet ﷺ who Allah in the quran calls the believers mothers. Fear Allah , u could be held acountable for giving this man who insults the wives of the prophet ﷺ and the sahabas who the quran says is the best of this ummah. Imagine the prophet ﷺ seeing u host a man like this what would he think

@Turab Hussain I think all of that you mentioned is because of sectarian tension, otherwise we wouldn’t have this problem. The Sunnis may not show as much respect towards Lady Khadijah or Fatima Zahra even, and the Shi’a may never give credit to the likes of Abu Bakr and Umar for things they achieved - like becoming an early Muslim in the case of Abu Bakr and the mass expansion of Islam in the case of Umar. People are just so obsessed with their “team” and it’s always “us vs them” that creates these problems. The abuse really has to stop as you said
Turab Hussain

@James O Agreed it used as a term for endearment but when a diffrent wive of the prophet is mentioned you don't see that "endearnment" used for that lady. even Khadija a.s . As if the "Shia" always has to walk on eggshells with their belief. But the Sunni can belittle as much even on the Imams. But that's allright. The abusing part shia's should stop that won't help resolve issue's. Shia's should just a stance for example towards Aisha the same as Imam Ali. If they read is actual stance it won't be a problem for the "shia". Might be the way around. When we get accused of saying we insult the sahaba's or the wives for example. But blatantly ignore sahaba's insulting each other. the wives of the prophet each other or the prophet itself. It becomes no issue, it's like a double standard at play. When sahaba's go at war and try kill one and other. It's a plain "missconception" That's my issue. Not my problem if people get offended by us less respecting a figure. Who tries to kill one of the biggest figures in Islam(Whom the prophet has said. That he is always right). You've got a brain use it.

@Turab Hussain obviously you can state your opinion lol & I never denied that they are mothers because believers are not allowed to marry them. I’m simply pointing out that the word “mother” for Sunnis has the exact same attachment and use as the word “mother” you use for Fatima Al Zahra - even if you may not be Sayed, which most Shia’s are not. So I don’t see the point of bringing up the fact that “oh they are mothers becwuse we can’t marry them”, when Shias use the same terminology for Zahra even though they aren’t her descendants. The term is used as a term of endearment, especially in Eastern cultures. You show respect to a lady you revere by calling her your mother.

@James O I know there is a sentimal value for Sunni muslims for them. But when we as Shia get instanly abused, belittled or regarded "kaafir". I can fully state what my belief is and why, we believe certains thing which are factual in Islamic history. Even if its "hurtful" regarding certain figures. I'm against like abusing them. You won't get any good from that but there is no denying that there is dissociation with those people even in our books and belief. Plus what I said is true they are "mothers" in the sense of you can't marry them. They get the respect from actions not just association with the Prophet SAW.
James O
James O 6 ай бұрын
@Turab Hussain while that is true, let’s not pretend that they are not seen as mothers in the same way the Shi’a view Fatima Al-Zahra as their mother. Their is a sentiment and emotional attachment to these figures. Just like you wouldn’t tolerate people insulting and abusing your mother Fatima Zahra, the same applies with the wives.
