I mean, if the final game still has the whole training stats past their limit by lowering some other stat we probably could have reverse positioning come back, even if some fans really hated it lol

They should make it so you can use Shot blocking defense moves as a goal keeper

You can actually use Zell and Clara as goalkeeper options if you want to be creative. They're both air element so they're "good" against the likes of Zanark and Heath while also both having Wormhole which covers Shawn and Bailong's moves. I personally use Zell because I think it's funny and it kinda works

I think the best goalkeeper in the game is dvalin. Works well with the passive giving 60% more attack at 100% tension. And having two different elemental moves gives you a big Edge while playing. Ofc he also has a good type. Since the only Mountain elemental striker is zanark (with which you have cover thanks to worhmole).

There are like player in game that could fully do this game plan and be playable. For example Zell from aluis can act as goalkeeper and even has a shot while being a forward. Could be cool to do a AI series where you train a fully reverse positioned team (with defenders that learn shots and forwards that use blocks etc.) From a lowest AI all the way into godhood AI before taking the team to ranked and getting a ranked win with them

I'm working on squad depth rn (basically what they would do in Ares where you send your strongest players to weaker teams to increase the team's power) My Sam wasn't good against Godhood Alius Masters (He was lvl 6) so I put Jack in goal and we won

The thing is many characters had different positions from which i think they shpuld be possible again (at least in teh anime it was the case) shawn as defense, JP als GK and Mark as libero i.e.

I mean to be honest playing the meta is often very boring, the best way to play inazuma is with a team full of random nobodies who you like the deisgns of with alright stats in the wrong positions
