Pulled slightly back or inline with the forks always helped me get a higher hop... 4 piece just seemed stiffer and dont shock your arms as much, but, my opinion, are god awful to look at.. I always dig Phus insight

i actually JUST moved my bars a little more forward like max has his from my normal "in line with the forks" and i prefer it the way max has his, i noticed higher bunny hops, more control with my 180's, good video

11:30 If you see anyone with their bars like that they might just be into trials. Trials riders run their bars like that for similar reasons to the ones already mentioned, to give more space when you're hopping on the back wheel and to make it easier to get your weight over the front wheel when doing up-to-front hops.

I will say 4pc does ride different then 2pc. It feels a lot stiffer and more rigid. Like your energy transfer when say just doing a HOO is more instant. It could be placebo totally but I think it’s Fr and has to do with their being more welds and shit

I feel like my 2p on my Sunday are like weaker and easier to turn more agile, and my 4p s&m on my older redline seems like there stiffer and a little harder to turn. Also could be my placement I like max placement but my redline is a little toward crazy guy according to phu and I def need to bring my redline back a touch

I'm honestly waiting on 12" Tall Bars, There's definitely a few jokes to be had with the name haha. It just seems like that's going to happen, we've got a few 11" Rise Bars now, I think an 11.5" is coming soon? Someone should just get it over with & make 12" x 32" Bars & be done. I'll always remember running 7.8" Bob Bars & people shit talking other riders for running 8" Slams haha. Then 8" crept up to 8.25" maybe 8.3" then that became 8.5" & slowly but surely the "Stupid Jackass" size got taller & taller. S&M Made Perfect 10's as a joke & so many people wanted them, they started making them! I'll stick to my 9.5's that said Upsweep & Backsweep are whats important! I will never run under 3° Up ever again! Currently running 5° Up & that's great! Backsweep I'm not as fussed, I prefer a little less around 10° but I'll happily ride 13° if the rest of the Bars Specs are on point!

I have a question are there any BMX bikes made in the USA anymore.? I notice most riders are using old vintage redlines CWs GTs haros? Thinking about making a full us made 4130 4140 chrome frames. The junk made today doesn’t compare even material wise. I highly doubt any of its actually 4130 moly

As far as I know, there is no completely made american made bike. There are frame, forks, bars, cranks, stems, sprockets and pegs made in the US and then the rest is 90% Taiwan

Bummed you're California based and didn't drop the California slang for riding your bars like that. Everyone called it "CHICAGO" or "CHICAGO'D ASS BARS" .... It was slang for wack. If your bar angle was even a degree out of line with your fork angle you'd get called out. You would be like "you see that bar-spin?"
