If DDP wins, Strickland OR Whittaker both have strong cases. Strickland arguably deserved a W against DDP whereas Whittaker was wrecked. On the other hand, Whittaker has 2 Ws since his loss to DDP whereas Sean has none. I'd be fine with either getting a title shot against DDP, or, a contender match between Sean and Bobby to decide the shot. If Izzy wins, though, I think that considerably weakens Whittaker's case since he has lost to Izzy twice, whereas Sean beat Izzy once. If Izzy wins, Sean ought to be next no matter what. Whittaker should fight one more in that case to secure the spot after Sean.

Nope. Rob vs Sean is the smartest move. Both beat Costa and Rob has an additional KO on top of that. 2 to 1. Plus, Rob vs Costa was a MUCH better fight than Sean vs Costa. Either way, Rob vs Sean is the play to make.
