I think if I were going to àctually use a vertical weekly with time blocking, A6 would work for me. But I use my vertical weekly by blocking off a section at the top for work, appointments, and social events (one block each). Then I put a strip of washi tape horizontally across the spread and my weekly to-dos, meal plan, and habit tracker all fit in the space below. I love a B6 for this.

Hi Kimberlyn! Thanks for the comment. I used to set my planner up similiar to yours when I used a plum paper and EC planner. I really liked this style but have got away from it now I'm in the smaller sizes. Maybe it's time to go back? Hmm.

Good Video, I have downsized from a Cousin to a Travel Notebook Common Planner as my daily planner (etc). Love it. A5 is too big for me and not easy to carry to work and back. Even when I am home TN size is so much better. Weeks is too small due to my handwriting. I would not purchase another planner for your experiment but use Weeks size for a week or two spread to see would be interesting perhaps. Happy Planning 💞

Thanks for watching and the comment Jeannie! I was thinking about the TN size for my reading journal next year. I agree about the A5 Cousin being too heavy to carry around, especially if its packed with stickers!

I actually ordered my first B6 yesterday. I want to start journaling but A5 seems like too much space to fill and the A6 I got is just tiny. So I ordered a Wonderland 222 notebook in B6 because they seem to do very well with fountain pens. Can't wait to try it.

Yay! I think the B6 is the perfect size between A6 and A5. I hope you love it! I haven't tried the Wonderland 222 but I hear good things. You'll have to let me know how you are finding it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I suggest using what you have for the next experiment. After many years in an A5 weekly Passion Planner, I have been using a digital PDF planner primarily for dailies, B6 Common Planner for journaling, and Weeks/N2 Common Planner for personal tasks. The B6 was too small for my schedule and tasks (I work full time and have two children with their schedules and activities). I am considering moving to A5 next year. Digital planning is convenient. But I’m too close to distraction on my iPad. I agree that the weeks size is quite satisfying. And I’m reluctant to let it go. The small size forces me to limit my tendency to over-plan. I’m annoyed my indecision.
