I dont realistically think anyone is going to remember AMP in 10 years time. they dont make anything, they just upload penhouse tours and reacts and livestream. streaming like kai does is great for money and fans temporarily but it doesn't have much lasting effect. realistically Kai is the only person anyone is going to remember because the rest of them are just regular guys and Kai is only as famous as he is because people enjoy watching Stupid people. the same Reason XQC is super popular but does nothing all day, people just enjoy watching him stumble stutter and say the stupidest shit to ever come out of anybodies mouth. The sidemen are popular mostly because of the content they make which has evolved over time, maybe AMP will evolve and start doing serious long form content that people will actually remember.

Can’t believe you don’t react to Sidemen Among Us. The amount of views you would get lol. Easy money.

I think the sidemen/amp/dude perfect thing goes right back to the generation one before amp is like they mentioned largely livestreaming, which in general is still just a much smaller audience than youtube, especially one of the og massively established ones like dude perfect But livestreaming is huge among gen alpha and to a lesser extent gen z, theyre hugely more relevant to the culture that is largely defined by those chronically online younger generations. I only know fanum exists because of the "fanum tax" alpha slang lmao but like they said all our jokes and slang nowadays are pretty much from genz/alpha culture Meanwhile despite 60mil subs and one of the biggest oldest legacies on youtube, I bet a lot of gen alpha wouldnt even know who dude perfect are, even less than I know kai and fanum and the others(could not name a single other, didnt even know they were called AMP). Theyre like facebook, absolutely massive but not relevant to the younger generations

I think Dude perfect was known by a diverse population and will always be known as the trickshot guys. While AMP is mostly known to people because of Kai. I didn't know AMP was a thing. However their reach among public is not diverse in the sense their viewers mostly consume the same type of content in one way or another. The reason being as you said Gen Alpha their jokes slangs and stuff. I have joined their streams a fair amount of times and I still couldn't understand the engaging element. Maybe I am too old for them. I'd say AMP is more relevant than most other youtubers for now. They can make 125k+ people stay on their stream for hours most yt videos don't get that in 1 hour (nowadays). But then again streamers in general are big. Ibai pulled 2M+ for some charity event. There's atleast 2-4 M live viewership across different twitch streams at prime time.

@@bettysalama7839 i would say there were parts where it wasn’t as good but overall I enjoyed it loads. The first episode i thought I’d not like it but it was in the end pretty good. That being said, I’d be much much more happy with an hour among us every day for a week instead of another inside

13:31 What even is AMP? Isnt't an amp something used as a speaker for an electric guitar? Or a measurement of electricity? I'm pretty sure Sidemen are bigger than electric guitar speakers XD easy question!
