Does the cheapest Amazon bead seater even work?

Here is a review of a bead bazooka bead seater I bought off eBay. You can buy them off Amazon too. Harbor freight sells them at $150 so $60 is a big savings. I was at tractor supply one day and seen they had 2 that were miss marked. They were $30 each. I bought both of them . I work on semis and the 5 gallon usually works to seat the bead on a 22.5 tire.

Great video! Consider getting larger tire irons. I use 24" and 30" from Ken-Tool. More leverage means less effort. 6:45

Built mine out of a 20 lb propane tank and 3/4 valve and pipe with a Fill coupler on a 1/4 line reduced from a 3/4 T in front of the valve. Works great. My KZbin channel.

Iv done 46” tires with mine but I but I’d have trouble doing wide turf tires or something.

@@Notafordguythat’s pretty impressive for a 5 gallon. Honestly…I regret buying the 10 gallon because it’s too big but I only paid like $75…so I thought for a few more bucks I would get the biggest one. The sweet spot would be the 7.5 gallon.

Air tanks are AIR BOMBS ! They all have expiration date code on them . Buy quality name brand tanks ! The only thing to brag about a Chinese air tank is the price ! The best and safest tanks are pressure vessel tanks which are certified . Everyone seems to want a light tank , pick out a heavy tank ! Metabo/ Hitachi has a 10 gallon pressure vessel tank that weighs 43 lbs. , not a tire tank . Cheap tire air tank only have one skid runner , concrete will grind a hole in them !

I have a tank I use daily from 1998 so far so good. I also use oxygen tanks from the 1950s. They have been re certified many times over

I have never had an air tank turn into a bomb. They just start leaking.

I can understand why it might look that way but these are 16.5” rims. Humvee tires seat like semi rims so the tanks is a necessity. The sealing lip is tapered. Thanks for the comment.

The thing I don't like about this, is that the tire would not have even needed a bead blast, because of how wide the tire was to the rim. You could have just put the air chuck to the valve stem and it would have aired up fine. Thats not the point of these, so there is no conclusion.

Lol please make a video of that because I think you’ll be eating your words. This is a 16.5” rim and tire and they seat against the bead different. They are much like a heavy 22.5 tire and rim. There is no “bead popping” going on. The tool is absolutely a necessity when mounting these tires.
