My cousin used to train in knife fighting with Michael Janich. My cousin was a body guard for an “important” person in the White House.

I’m loving my microjimbos. Carried the stainless for a month or so before jumping on the black when it was released in 🇨🇦. Keep up the awesome reviews and content good sir 🙌

My understanding of New York knife laws basically anything is illegal but small fixed blades. My on the ground assessment being around the city and western New York for work. Cops don’t care as long as you aren’t engaged in suspicious behavior and/or using it for appropriate uses. Trust me cops use this law a lot to stop people (this is a rumor I heard)and have the legal right to do so. Personally there knife laws are more strict than anywhere in the country they just don’t enforce(unless) because they know the work needs to get done and a knife is a tool. Spoke to actual NY police officer about this topic off shift he actually had no idea. Sooo……….!!!!!! Lots gray area for good and bad…. Agree the creator of the Yojimbo uses an alter ego of Mall ninja to sell his product. He has been like this for years especially when he was in the firearms industry. Of course he has some valuable insights from training…but you’ll notice he references cooper a lot. Kinda the whole those you cannot do or haven’t been given the opportunity(cause who wants to be in a knife fight not me for sure)teach and I will say that teaching isn’t unvaluable when you don’t want to spend the time to train yourself. I liked the micro jimbo when it was open. I just didn’t like for my hand size the knife not resting in my hand when closing while pitching the lock bar. The Yojimbo 2 this isn’t an issue. I have this issue with the lil native as well but not with the techno 2 because the frame lock must make contact with the hand. Anyway little take away cool knife..
