Does The East Bring The Heat For Wekfest?...

It just feels like there aren't enough hours in the day lately with all these Wekfest events happening. First it was San Jose, followed quickly after by Los Angeles, and not even two weeks later, it was off to the east coast for our first event back in New Jersey. With all that has happened over the past two years, we were excited to be back finally with renewed energy and fervor for the East. I myself did not know what to expect with this stop on the tour. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it leaves a little more to be desired, you just never know. What myself and the Wekfest crew were greeted with this time around was a completely different experience. It seems the time away has drastically improved what this region had to offer. The only problem was...would I have enough time to capture it all??? Also, at the end, I take some time to address the very obvious 'elephant in the room'....

This always hits me in the feels more than most. It not only makes you feel for those injured, and those that lost life but it also pisses you off that another turd would end up bringing such a dark cloud over such an amazing time. Great video as always! The turnout and quality of the cars looked spectacular! Good job NJ! Spectators definitely got their moneys worth! Joey, your commentary on the hit and run was well thought out, on point, and obviously from the heart. Wekfest is at the top of the stack as far as car shows go. You, John, David, Ken Will, Dweezy, and the rest if the guys work very hard and are dedicated to putting on quality events. The hit and run has ZERO reflection on WF as an organization. As far as the driver... he made a series of poor decisions that got progressively worse. From what I read, loud music and revving during awards, "sending it" on the way out, culminating in the hit and run. This guys life will be affected by the legal system, lawsuits, possible prison time, and being ostracized by the NJ car community. He will pay for his choices for years to come. Its truly unfortunate for the victims and even more-so than the driver. They lost a beloved pet, suffered injuries, medical bills, and are now going to have to use their time also dealing with the legal process in prosecuting this guy. I hope that they will find closure and peace sooner than later. Joey and WF crew.. keep up the good work. Please ban this dude from future events. NJ car community you highlighted your community big time! With that..it's time for supper 🤙🍻

Show looks like an awesomene turnout! And all it took was one person to destroy the vibe. My condolences to the 🐢. Although it may cost more money, maybe it'll be a good idea to enforce one or two officers at the rollout just to make sure this sort of incident doesn't happen again with rowdy people.

Honestly watching the LA video rollout the whole time everyone the whole giant crowd surrounding the rollout was egging people on like crazy and I was just waiting for someone to loose control and hit people in that giant crowd and then next event it happens and even worse they ran. Technically it's "Weak" fest as wēksos parts started wekfest Kenneth Li Adam Luong & Collin Lam started Wēksos Industries Collin left to start inspireUSA then Adam & Kenneth split. Kenneth left to run wekfest which he still does today around 2013 he cut all ties with weksos & Adam was supposed to continue running weksos parts but it disappeared

I don’t know the guys name that was checking gas gauges but can’t tell me how my gas gauge works . Believe his name is Dave . Have the guys gas gauge didn’t work . He was alitte rude and the comments was not needed . Nobody has to lie to you my guy . Long story short I told him my gas gauge didn’t work and needed to be calibrated . He’s telling me that your tuner don’t know what’s he’s doing . My guy my gauge is a Digital gauge that tells me percentage. And I wish he would chime in on this one.

Hello Dave here. My bad if I came off rude, it’s typically a lot of sarcasm after 10 people in a row give me the same story. I was asking how it was that the gauge that was calibrated is reading full rather than empty. I also asked if you were saying your tuner didn’t know what they were doing because you said he still needed to figure it out. Again I thought by the fact I was saying you could go and just keep things cool if the fire martial trips that it was a sign I was just messing around. Again sorry if it came off rude. I always try to make light of the situation.
