the genocide would have not happened if the other side had the right of their own freedom of speech.

Now that I have learned that Public Universities are bound by the First amendment and Private Universities aren't, I can comfortability say that if a student if fine with inferior learning and are willing to sacrifice a much broader collection of information, they have a right to withhold the ability to learn. Public universities must uphold a students ability to gather the vast amount of views that inturn will produce the brightest and a more divers group of future leaders. Private = limited or controlled.. public= open mindedness and trust of our future leaders.

Thank you National Constitution Center for your work! This is such a great resource to learn about hot constitutional topics. :)

Does the first amendment protect hate speech? Yes!
@joshuadelaunay29804 жыл бұрын
There is no such thing as hate speech and the first amendment protects all speech that doesn’t directly call for violence. Any entity trying to hush any speech that doesn’t directly call for violent action is anti constitutional and deserves no credence and should not receive any government funding or special taxation allowances. Everyone on this panel appears to be very left leaning.

My question is even if you have the right to call someone a migger, why do it? Hate speech like poronagraphy "I know it when I hear it?" It is subjective. Public Universities and Private Universities. Legal Censorship, Social Censorship, Self Censorship. Can Hate Speech be Civil? Is the "1619 Project"`and Critical Race Theory" hate speech? Then you have Liberal, Conservative and Libertarian prespectives.. I think that Libertarians are "absolutist" with regards to free speech. Both Conservatives and Republicans have advocated for censorship but for different issues.

You stupid fuch , of course there is hate speech. It there is hate speech. You mother is a whore would be an example. Even speech in direct calls to immediate violence has led to violence.

I do not think that "everyone" on the panel appears to be left leaning. I would agree that none of those "lean" to the far right. So, "the election was stolen" , free speech!. Did it incite the tiny minority to violence that led to the deaths of five people on Jan. 6th?

Nice video. The "winner" in the vote is that 86% have a better understanding of the opposing-different-(wrong? 😉 ) views. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Considering The Federalist Society is very right-wing, one can surmise that you thinking they are left-leaning, you're even to the right of The Federalist Society, so are you a fascist or full-blown Nazi?

@@please.665 It also protects the right to assemble, to protest, to petition the Government, and to practice your religion, as well as speak openly and freely. This covers all Government, not just congress, and it covers your right to do the aforementioned at home or in public. You're a silly bot.
