@@mrnithyananda7526last I checked, there were 2x more single mothers than fathers... women are primarily responsible for care giving for children/aging family members, therefore they have to take more time off work... it is a care-giving/ motherhood discrimination, not necessarily a discrimination against women... when fathers begin to share the division of household labor, then both working parents will end up happier! Iceland instated mandatory paternity and maternity leave on a take it or leave it basis-- now it is expected that working men with working wives will share the childcare/ domestic labor...

@gabbydobbs5713 female employment is so insignificant in Iceland that 1/3rd of Iceland population came to Streets to protest against gender pay gap and no Iceland economy collapsed, if all men in Iceland did the same then that country would cease to exist. If single motherhood is that big of a issue for you then give total custody to father?

Also women are told we can’t have both a family and a career. That we have to choose. Even now society tells women and minorities what they should and shouldn’t do.
