Does the Joolz Aer+ Bumper Bar Fold On the Joolz Aer?

The big question I've had a few times regarding my Joolz Aer vs Joolz Aer+ Comparison video ( • Joolz Aer+ vs Joolz Ae... ) Also my written review (www.parentingc...) has been whether or not the Joolz Aer+ bumper bar fits the original Joolz Aer stroller and most importantly does it fold with either model?
Thankfully the answer is YES and YES!
The Joolz Aer+ bumper bar does fit the Joolz Aer stroller and it will fold without having to remove it first!
Which is such good news because personally, I'd not have bough the original Joolz Aer bumper bar because it's not exactly the easiest bumper bar to get off and on the stroller.
Though, depending on the size of your child (and also how squirmy they are) you might still need to take the bumper bar off to get them in and out of the stroller. But I think the bar sits far enough away from the stroller seat tat you should be able to pop a baby or toddler into the seat lifting them over the bar and sliding them into the seat. Just as long as they don't kick their legs out and try to resist being put in the stroller.

I just got my foldable bumper bar and it folds perfectly with the AER!

Lucky! Personally I wouldn't have bought the original bar because it seems against the point of the stroller to have to take it off.

Is the bumper bar for the bassinet the same as the seat one? So if I got the joolz aer + bassinet would that bumper bar fit the seat? Thank you :)

The Aer+ bumper bar definitely fits and folds with the Joolz Aer.

Does anyone know if the Aer+ leg rest fits on the Aer? I can't seem to find the original leg rest anywhere and I'm travelling soon.

Yep, the Aer+ leg rest works on the original Aer (although I think the confusion comes from the original Aer leg rest doesn't work on the Aer+)

Why is Joolz say it doesn't fit?

That might be a question to direct to Joolz because I'm not really sure why they would say it doesn't fit - if there's some weird standards I'm not aware of or if there's another difference between the models in other countries I'm not aware of. Although I have had a comment from someone in the USA confirming they bought the Aer+ bumper bar for their Aer and it fit.

I've asked Joolz and linked them to this video. Their response (translated from Dutch): "The safety bar has been tested by Joolz and is not intended for use on the first Joolz Aer. The video you send was not made by Joolz and Joolz does not recommend using the Aer+ bracket on the Aer. There are differences in productions for different countries, so it may fit as shown in the video. As a result, there is a chance that you may experience problems with the chassis or safety bar and it will not be covered by the warranty." Sounds to me like: we haven't certified it, so we don't want to be held liable. Nevertheless, I bought the Aer+ bumper bar (article number 310131) and it does fit my Aer perfectly.
