It only works if another character is holding the throwable, so I guess if one of your teammates agreed to jump off the map for the kill, you could xD

Lockbolt definetely can make people dangle, but only if they walk quite a bit of distance after being locked and then drop down somewhere near the edge of the range, where the pull is strong enough to beat the gravity accelleration right away. I know this because I accidentally made a nice pinata out of a very confused enemy dangling above me.

i can confirm. did the playtest of season 5. that was the first thing that happened when i used lockbolt. its a lead in minecraft lol

If the cash box is dragging someone around while lock bolted, does that mean you can throw them off the map? Or a simpler test, you could try is locking someone up with the box, then throwing said box onto a jump pad and see if they go with it.

NOT a myth, and actually a bug game losing bug: On Bernal, I placed a gateway on the rotating platform, ran away and hid. They started stealing, so I placed my second gateway and warped there. They had raised the platform, so my gateway was now inside the platform itself. Warped through, and I fell through the map and died. Lost the round because of that So yeah, don't place a gateway at floor level of the platform, because once it's raised, you'll warp under the map and die. Plus side, can be used as a trap

MYTH: Lockbolt can't immobilize falling players. / A Lockbolt binding 3 players disappears faster than one binding a single player. I think lockbolt has power limit, so target goes away far or fast, lockbolt disappear fast.
