Does the MM731 Deserve a Second Chance?

Been using this mouse for quite a while, had the scroll wheel rubber problem which I fixed after gluing it back together, I was originally using a Model O Wireless until the battery killed itself and wouldn't turn on again, this has been my main for quite a while besides the Abyssus V2 with Paracord, the price of the mouse for me is $44 USD. I did some modding with the mouse to make it slightly better, this being moving the battery from the back to the center position which kind of eliminated the weird weight distribution that came with the mouse, I also swapped out the LK Opticals with Razer V2 Opticals and yes, the mouse is still good. I personally claw grip it, the mats I've been pairing the MM731 with is the G840XL, AC+ Black and a random etched glasspad. Also idk why, the skates automatically bent themselves so I had to get myself dot skates, regardless the mouse is still good if not a steal in my personal opinion.

I'd say so, since it released at around £70 and now I was able to pick one up in the Ebuyer Easter sale for £13 I think that's insane for what you're getting. Damn, just the paracord cable could set you back more than that. I have the Rival 3 wired too but they apparently have fixed all the issues with the MM731 now. Mine is one of the newer models as well and doesn't have a lot of the issues with the original batches (scroll wheel etc)

Had the same problem with the scroll wheel. I just used a drop of glue in the gap and then it's fine.

What kind of glue? Sticky or the one that dries immediately?

@@trevorfranks69 You can try using PVA glue. Just pull on the rubber till there's a gap exposing the hard plastic wheel and drop it in there.

the pro click mini is 59 dollars, the rival 3 from steelseries& the mm731 is about 67 dollars but the orochi v2 is 84 dollar , I can afford to buy one of them but whats better for gaming?& I wanna use it on my ipad wich one do U recommend?

I own this mouse, and it slaps when playing FPS games, but it sucks when playing rts games or mobas where utilisation of the right mouse button is predominant. The right mouse button is very mushy and unspammable, it think it has to do with the very thin plastic of the mouse buttons, they bend very easily.

You just got a bad copy, I swear down I bought a MM730 earlier and loved it (was only €10, so a few days ago I saw the MM731 on sale for €30 and I thought I might as well. But I immediately noticed the right click feeling very off compared to my original 730, so I ordered it another time and it's been exactly the same as my mm730 I had before.

This mouse will get literally unusable for Apex players after a few months especially if you like to superglide wallbounce tapstrafe 360 no scope everyone in the game. The scroll wheel rubber gets loose fast. Tbh even if you just use scrollwheel to jump and tapstrafe to mostly just move around, it will get loose in less than 2 months.
