...and imagine life on an Earth-like planet around the long lost sister of our Sun somewhere in the Milky Way....

What is going on in the sky today? there is a disk, and the sun. Both of these have different rays

Seems like a twin separation procedure would have wreaked havoc on the planetary disc, no?

The Solar System could have had a second star, but it failed even before it could ignite. :'(

Solar siblings have been found. Ramirez et. al. found one in 2014. A couple more were identified about a month ago.

I wonder if there are "trinary" stars all orbiting complexly about together.
@AndyYankee178 жыл бұрын
It would be incredibly unstable and virtually impossible to happen naturally.

There are "trinary" systems, they're called ternaries. Google it.

+Andrew Ahern: a close binary, orbited by a far red dwarf, is I think a stable configuration.

Is there a list of links for all the unlisted videos on this channel anywhere please? Cheers!

This channel's unlisted videos get listed as normal videos a few days Later. Most of them are subtitled as "(extra footage)" if you want to search for them.

thx Mike, but claiming "there must be a Sun's twin somewhere in the Milky way" is not an actual proof
@zuzusuperfly83638 жыл бұрын
Is your comment a joke? He said, "we don't know one way or the other". The closest thing he said to your quote is, "there must be some of the sun's former nursery mates out there somewhere in the milky way".

So if the sun had a binary twin, each could have had it's own solar system which would have survived the transition when they separated? That's cool. Let's find mirror earth

There are so many binary star systems out there because the universe runs in binary. #matrixconfirmed
