Where I live in BC, when you take a car for a test drive at a dealership, they not only take a copy of your driver's license, the salesman usually goes with you.

Sitting at my desk safe and warm in NJ, listening to you and getting ready to start DP'ing for today. We are expecting snow on Monday so I don't think I'll be venturing out. My power wheelchair isn't the greatest in the snow. So maybe 5 or 6 hours a day working on my latest. Stay safe and off of black ice.

Ur painting is coming along nicely, love dragons. Ugh, freezing rain is the worst, I hope it just by - passes where ur daughter's area. Here in Quebec it's a very damp chilling cold. Sorry to hear u fell black ice as u know is, so slippery. Have great week, stay warm 🥶❄️🥶

They did get about 1/4" of ice, but then it turned to snow. They are under a blizzard warning today! I would expect that weather where I am in Canada, but not back home. I can't remember the last time we got that much snow in KS. Thanks for watching!!

We are getting that same storm. Hopefully we won’t get as much ice but we can get up to a foot of snow 🫣🥶 Our schools are going to a virtual day tomorrow. I’m in Indiana but we are north of the worst of it. The things that you put on your shoes really work. I even put them on in the snow. ⛄️ I’m the main clutz of the family 😂😂 Have a great week and try to stay upright when you’re out. Love you, Theresa

Hi Daphne, thank you for your WIP and Chat. Your life is interesting. Mine is weird. On Saturday evening I fell in a corner between the loveseat, walker, paino, sofa, and coffee table. I couldn't get up. I needed to go to the bathroom. I had my friend bring out adult diapers for me to put on so I could go to the bathroom. My friend told me, she couldn't help into sofa because of her back and Sciatica. She told me try to get on your knees. Well, when fell I injured both knees, and my Lumbar area of my back was spasm. It hurt me to breath. I was confused. I ended up sleeping on the little area I had on a Christmas rug. The next I went every room pushing myself on my derriere. My Personal assistant husband tried to help me up. Then he told me to call 911. Some nice firemen came over and got me right up. Funny, my friend the night before keep saying don't call 911, they will put you in hospital. I texted her the next day and told her the hospital which would keep someone, would be you at a mental health facility. Well, 2025 is starting off weird.😅

The money needing to sit in the account sounds like an anti money laundering thing to me. But also the card thing is so weird to me, I am used to getting the card and a PIN in two parts through the mail and then it just works. Need to put it into an ATM once for tap to pay to work but thats it. And the UK and EU thing is mostly taxes and tariffs in my experience. Inter EU taxes are already a pain, and Brexit made it worse (coming from a EU resident that is an assistant tax adviser by trade)
