Does this mean DMZ is coming back...

We have all been waiting for a new DMZ update and we don't know if we will ever get another one. However in a new Warzone update, they are bringing DMZ features to Warzone. Some are saying DMZ is back, but I am not. Enjoy this Call of Duty DMZ gameplay where I tell you my thoughts on these new Warzone features.

DMZ is by far the most fun i have ever had in any COD Game ever. I find myself playing mw3 multiplayer/warzone and getting to a point to where it just gets boring. Ive already unlocked interstellar and maxed all weapons and i just dont know what else to do. Dmz always had something different to offer with every. Single. Game. I miss DMZ so much

Honestly i like DMZ way more than warzone. There's a community that can play laid back with a bit of thrills of PVP, even racing on ATV's with no need to sweat all the time in Warzone etc.. so they will eventually take notes and notice that people are still on the game and at least fix some love issues.

DMZ is the perfect game !!! The mechanics, the pace , the options, the amount of operators per match !!! I enjoy to watch videos about the game , to see where players go first , preferences on map areas. Anyway , there is a lot to do and every single match is different. I think maybe a petition would do well. I'm nearly done with MWZ, and while it was fun, it's just not DMZ. Which is the best game mode IMO. I love the PvP aspect, surely not at first but once I got good, such a blast! I'd rather play than watch. But your videos help tremendously.

adding "DMZ" elements with a backend comment of "we have listened to the community" isn't a win for the DMZ community. its a slap in the face of paying customers who are loyal to a brand that continually shites on its customers. microsoft is absolute trash, and will continuously wreck the dumpster fire activision has become over the last few years. just do what the community is asking for. create new missions and progressions; implement scripts that punish game behavior versus "exclusive" words that get you chat banned; you could even put it behind a paywall. thousands of players would gladly pay for updated content and support; versus the pay to win model your current line up seems to be following. sad state of affairs.

they should just update DMZ and bring it to MW3 or just make it a separate stand-alone project set in the Modern Warfare universe (basically an arcade version of Tarkov). zombies (at least in its MW3 iteration just doesn't cut it). It's a crippled version of DMZ. It has to be round based, not "extraction shooter." adding DMZ features into Warzone is just pathetic, like 5 covert exfils, 100 players per match that's potentially 20% of the server's population gone at the beginning of the game.

I think a few things - (1) manpower was not there for DMZ MW3 due to zombies and launch etc (2) DMZ is a new mode = new customer / existing customer (3) Activision now sees a loyal player base for DMZ (4) DMZ MW2 had Koschei and Building 21 (Maps dedicated) for DMZ - it ain’t no small project (5) Replicating / integrating DMZ into MW3 is going to require time and resources, not to mention new missions which on the surface looks like a big task and when you want things to be bigger and better they need the time and resources. Just thinking out loud, but I think it’s just like Resurgence which was a new mode at first, then it became a full time thing. It’s gonna take some time for a new DMZ.

I’m assuming that there is some metric that the devs and corporate are not hitting to proceed with DMZ. Furthermore, I think they are also struggling with mw3 in both player retention, revenue, and engagement. Lastly, we are all hoping for a reinvention and reinvestment in a beta; while the company retains all the same management, partners, and developers. Having managed in a large corporation; change is slow and often not as expected. We shouldn’t be surprised if this takes 2 to 3 years imho.

Lag of Doody: Modern Snorefare Sleep Therapy is so boring. The multiplayer feels no different, Still dying in 1 to 2 shots while enemies can survive nukes no matter how many they get hit with. Same with Borezone, magdump enemies and they just turn and 1 to 2 tap because Swarm, Bas B, or Interceptor kill faster than the speed of light and sound fucking combined. The movement was updated but everything else feels so fucking slow compared to MWII/DMZ which sounds on par for this company "Give them some speed but slow evey other animation down." That sound right? Of course it does. Naturally the MWIII guns will outshoot all the MWII guns because buy the game 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Honestly buying MWIII for $70 was basically an Investment for my health considering I've been falling asleep playing Zomb..zzz zzz zzz... I would love a dmz update, but dont give it the mwiii treatment where every animation takes 15 years but "you can slide cancel and move faster!" EOMM is a cancerous aids idea as well. By the sounds of it they are trying to bring a similar game called Ubisoft, Ghost Recon, Frontline so they can turn it into an esport DMZ. Think about what has been said weapons case "a point of interest" and then an exfill " While other teams try and take either your chopper or hunt for the spoils. Watch the trailer for GRF. Work with me on the dates but if the MW3 numbers keep softening, DMZ is the season 3 in game upgrade. Launched for spring break say, it gets a bunch of us who didn't buy MW3 to get access to the new DMZ and it ports over the camos with the DMZ perks. Or if they want to get them out of the game for balance, offer a Cod points refund to get a new skin or battle pass. More importantly it gets full versions of the game sold to the stragglers and gets a huge amount of interest in the full game. Surely tucking the DMZ into the full version eliminates the need for it to monetize in the warzone free server world. It limits the hacks because of the loss of a main account, but I'm not naive enough to think it'll stop. I think the amount of gameplay updates was encouraging even if they went too far and they lost the balance that the earlier seasons had. Right now there is nothing like Season 1, before crafting, where losing that 3 plate, had you going full Jev on the controller. Maybe that's a video Cap, the evolution through the seasons of DMZ?
