For those who don’t know, block shedding is for run defending and power/finesse moves are for pass rush. A guy with trash block shedding but high power/finess moves should be your pass rush end/dt, whereas balanced guys should be your every down guys. You are welcome.

Seems like a standard college football game for a freshman QB, couldnt get the long pass off so played to his strengths, im sure in a real life scenario he'd be drilling that long pass with the OC all week in preparation for the next game

yes he is good, but he is also a freshman and has some developing to go before being a starting caliber QB (imo)

Tobin’s errant throws have warranted 6 missed touchdowns and 2 interceptions (6 attempts) not including random overthrows… on top of that, Welliver not playing well after JUST being put in the game is not comparable to Tobin not playing well for 3 full quarters

@@brosambeaux worth mentioning that its pretty much Tobin no matter what next season too. I doubt Welliver sees as much improvement as him.

@@Yolag I recognize that, but I genuinely think Welliver deserves a chance. you keep saying that Tobin has a short leash but it feels like Welliver’s is even shorter.. You should at the VERY least play him for 2 quarters either the cincy game or the game after to give him a fighting chance. Tobin “easily” has the job but Welliver has played like 1 quarter of football that was mediocre, and Tobin just threw 3 picks on very bad efficiency. also the reason you’re missing so much on the deep balls is because you’re just tapping it. hold for like a microsecond (not too much) longer and I guarantee you there will be better results.

@@Yolag also you never know. I had a 74 overall RS Fr DT jump from 74 to 87 and is now the starter. Welliver could jump higher than Tobin unless he has really low skill caps

Were you pass leading? Sometimes that happens to me if I'm climbing the pocket then you can lead the ball too far. I'm Trying to save my boy Tobin Job lol.

I changed the sliders for this season and one of the changes they recommended was increasing the pass lead to large. I lower it back to default after this episode

Based on the speed of Thompson id run the generic spread option playbook or the army option playbook Running the ball works really well and passing isn't the greatest from either QB

Cant really fault Welliver for missing a deep ball when he has not thrown a ball all day and is cold as ice. Maybe a 2 QB system is needed

This is a legit question. Do the PS5 controllers not give any feedback when you're kicking? I'm on Xbox, and my controller will vibrate if I'm aiming outside the uprights. I've been watching you and another creator's dynasty both struggle with those short field goals, and you both happen to be on PS5. This isn't a console wars comment, I'm just curious.

@@kboanddbo my experience with it is that, at least with Costanzo, there is a constant vibration and it’s hard to differentiate the normal vibration with the ones you get when you move the arrow in the goal posts. Maybe it’s kicker specific? I’m not sure.
