Knowledge is like food, perception is like digestion and the energy disseminated from understanding is strength and that strength manifests in capability to choose freedom or allow compulsions to choose you. Peace is in choosing freedom over happiness. Happiness is just feeding the ego and more you succumb to ego the more choices you will have... of letting the the situation consume you like a commodity and the depletion ensued will stop you from strength to choose freedom.
