So, maybe it’s just me, but I see a pretty noticeable result on the Sunday Riley side. The Timeless C side undeniably brightened your skin more, but I think the Sunday Riley side looks firmer and more lifted. Dr. Shareene Idriss does a couple really thorough videos on vitamin c in skincare, and she explained that the THD form (which is in the CEO serum) has been studied to perform better at collagen boosting because it is fat-soluble and has a greater affinity for absorbing into deeper layers of the skin. Glycolic acid also stimulates collagen production, so the pairing in the formula could explain your results. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous results!❤

Timeless Vitamin C has been a winner for me. I've gotten compliments on my skin looking brighter and I have noticed my complexion is so much more vibrant. Will continue to repurchase! I actually went ahead and took advantage of their Black Friday sale, picking up another of the 20% Vitamin C and the new one that is 10% just to try it out. Fingers crossed!

I am loving these comparisons!! Timeless vitamin c is definitely a favorite of mine too. The other thing to note with the Sunday Riley is that it has glycolic acid in it. So honestly it's impossible to say if the vitamin c derivative even does anything because of course the glycolic acid will help fade hyperpigmentation and smooth skin texture. I am with you on the orange fragrance though Lauren! Don't try to fool me with a citrus fragrance!

My issue with l-ascorbic is the unstableness, sometimes it oxidizes so quickly you barely get 3 weeks before it turns deep orange, I actually love derma-E vitamin C with sodium ascorbyl phosphate, it's stable doesn't change colors and feels so hydrating, and it's also about $23.00 at ulta.🤗

I think the neck appearance on the Timeless side is because your head is turned slightly more in the after pic. The results are awesome. Timeless is my fave and it stayed effective for months.

I absolutely hate Sunday Riley’s CEO pricing (so expensive. I shop a lot at Ulta so I save my earned dollars for Sunday Riley products to offset pricing) but I love the product (helps moisturizes my skin and helps brighten and keep clear and even). I have sensitive skin so I go the slow route with THD (a slower acting but effective derivative). In less than a month I saw a change in my complexion. My question is Is this a fair comparison because l-ascorbic acid works faster than THD and will show faster results? I want to try Timeless but I’m scared it will tear my skin up. Love the 1/2 and 1/2 comparisons on the face. Makes all the sense in the world.

That orange oil is not fragrance it is essential oil! Essential oils have scent naturally. The one thing you need to pay special attention to is if you use this is using and reapplying sunscreen! Citrus essential oils are the main culprit for sensitivity when used in skincare. There are many essential oils that are actually good for your skin.

For me Sunday Riley is not good for a morning routine as it contains oils that can cause photosensitivity which means you can damage your skin. But you can use SR on your night routine along with retinol and get the maximum benefits of vitamin C. They say THD ascorbate penetrates the skin better so why not to use both?

One of my favorite serums is the snail essence by cosrx! A women I work with (who looks fab in her 60s) recommended it to me, and I never looked back! It does wonders for plumping up the skin 🙌🏻💦

The problem with the Timeless is that is turns orangey very quickly and I was told by my dermatologists you should toss it out when it turns color. Do you still use it when it turns color?

I’m curious, I tried the timeless, but it oxidized during the third week. We’re you able to use it all before oxidation? They say that once it oxidizes, it should be thrown away.

That’s my issue with Timeless. By the time I factor in the bottles I throw away because it’s oxidized it’s expensive. I now use Dermalure at $20 a bottle from Amazon. Same great results and no oxidation.

Be careful with Timeless - they aren’t cruelty free and sell in China. They say on their website rhey are CT but there is nothing to confirm it / no certification (lots of brands lie about it), and if they sell in China, they will have to test.
