I knew exactly what it was as soon as I saw it! I'm a retired vet tech and have seen several of these on dogs and cats. It only takes 1 little blood vessel to rupture to cause obe of these. We also used buttons to repair big hematomas in dogs' ears. Hugo will be back to normal in no time! Hopefully, he finds a lady friend so he doesn't have to fight with the big boys!!! I love Bondi vet!!! 🥰💖🤗❤️

Yes! I had an old hound that had a similar procedure. Fixed him up right.

I have a miniature American bully that has "cauliflower ear or boxers ear) right now. Its about healed up thankfully. I've managed it from home (with advice from our local traveling vet gal)

I really wished you didn't 'blur' your surgeries, those of us who have budding and eager future vets in our families could learn so much and get used to the procedures. If someone is squeamish, just look away.
