Ayy dude .. DUUUDE .. S/O to you man .. this video helped me fix the sunroof drain on my passenger side in my 2011 bmw 328i xdrive I even went ahead and decided to clear my driver side sunroof drain too with the same method .. instead of using the air machine/chuck you have I went to the gas station and used their air pump that’s costs $2.00 in quarters 😂 .. it’s been such a headache trying to figure out how to unclog the sunroof drain myself, but this video/method has saved me so much money .. I’ve been on a 6 month long journey to find a video that works .. and this one was it !! Lord knows I would’ve had to spend so much money to get it fixed had I taken it to the bmw dealership !! I just did mine and hopefully will.stop leaking inside the car, i was so annoyed 2 days ago while notice both sides wet under the mat. Thank you mate

Easy fix remove your windscreen

You can disconnect the pipework by blowing down air down there... More over, you could be compacting the blockage making it harder to dislodge.

mindestens 1000€ an den Mann des Vertrauens an die skoda werkstatt geben und weitere 6 Jahre ist das das Dach zuverlässig, hoffentlich!!@@oneinamillion1960

what is the diameter of the tube that worked?

I’m not sure what the tube O.D. was that I used, I just had it laying around. It was slightly larger than 3/16th, so perhaps a 1/4” O.D.?

@esco.letsgo it’s a slow build up of debris. Over time it can clog the sunroof drains.

never use the blow gun, it risks dislocating the interior pipes there are teats located in compartiment at the level of the wipers motor or in wheel arches. Do not forget to unclogue at the back under the rear floor both sides.

I think using an air compressor is fine, just stay around 30 PSI or lower, that should keep the line from dislocating. Yes, unclogging the other end works too but it’s usually more time consuming to get to.

Stop being a pxxxy and give it a try .. it works .. I hate when scrubs like you come on someone else’s video and give disbelief and negativity to a method that actually works and isn’t that risky in reality ..

@exk6 Glad I could help. Next time I’ll edit any of that out. I thought the clip was important to make sure people held the hose in and now I know how to edit the audio.

I don't think so that it's a good idea. Compressor pressure will pop off the drain lines off of their fittings

Don’t use a really high pressure, in the description I suggest 30PSI but you can start with even lower as that might pass the blockage. Usually the blockages aren’t really stuck and it works. If they are really jammed in there and compressed air doesn’t make it pass then the excess air still blows back out around the hose.

Not true .. if you don’t go crazy with it then you should be fine .. stop putting out negative comments on a very informative video scrub ..
