Doff N' Donner Instructions Closed Toe Knee High

I first ran across these a few years ago when I was having some vein work done. After doing their thing, the nurses would use on of these to put some high-compression, thigh highs on me. Due to circumstances, I wasn't able to continue the treatment and, subsequently, couldn't get the compression stockings on. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago while having the subsequent leg ulcers dealt with, and they recommended one of these units. (I tried a cheaper option first that was totally useless). I LOVE THIS THING! Lower back pain makes it very difficult to just slide them on and this solves that problem a couple differrent ways (look for the standing-up technique video). The videos have been very helpful, many thanks!

I have to wear a very high compression closed toe stocking. The only way I could put them on by myself was using the duff and donner . What a great tool. 😀

Does this work well for people that have VERY swollen legs due to lymphedema or heart failure?...I've only seen this demonstrated on people that have normal sized legs and I'm wondering if the don/doffer will still fit over swollen leg/\calves that are 18in or larger...

I'm considering purchasing one. But it looks like getting the stocking onto the device may require strong use of the thumbs. My arthritic thumb is currently struggling with removing stockings.

Many people say that this device is helpful for their arthritic hands. However, there are many different types of arthritis, so I would say just try it and if it does not work for you, you can return within 30 days.
