In the Green Room absolute grandeur prevails. Its embracing concave waters are just so sublime. When the breaking waves gather momentum they seem to reinforce every savagely rampant sensation that has ever been in touch with tomorrow - and the past… 1) Here I'm sitting in a cocktail club by the shore break. Waiting for a nocturnal upbeat mind trip with an intoxicating bass line to boot, I am basking silently in the adventurous gifts the past day's sparkling flow has given to me. Out on the sea during alchemy hour I've been lifted off my statics several times - off the lip and into the sky. Overshooting the mark I was ready to receive the cathartic signals emanating from the silver nail fixing the Southern Cross. 2) But to begin with, like an adrenalin-powered black iguana on board I kept proning for a while to embed myself in the choppy surface, not to lose contact with the gravity of the depths below. I felt like the sole pelagic being out there soon to leave the vast, moving life blood to spread the seed of the ocean's atavistic secrets beyond its majestic dignity. I drowned in a surge of bliss when the breath of euphoria churned up my fluids… The club combo's scintillating splendour accompanies my reflections. A boiling basement of sounds pulsating like the swell teases slinky bass licks. The musicians reintroduce metamorphing lifeforms to the wild. 3) They know that there are never enough notes to play to enhance flavour (and taste). By twisting an eruption of breakneck beats I sense the combo's verve to be as impulsive as the ever so mighty surf. In this moment a twitching synaesthetic fire of passion crops up, flashing through my memories. Discharging its body caressing force the sudden thrill catapults my yearnings to supersonic dimensions… 4) Two Zombies later I am thoroughly convinced that the oceans and all flowing elements preserve the collective mind of sound - and maybe the perpetual flux of thoughts by every creature not having been deafened by the big bang as well… Now a woman ascends out of the music's emerald glow. My blurred condition of equilibrium renders the arising tsunami of affection unridable. Here she comes - my wahine!

I conceived them myself, based on a collection of terms from the "Riptionary", a dictionary of surf lingo which unfortunately isn't online anymore but meanwhile available as a hardcover. The track can be seen as prequel to "Electric Liquid".
