Friends of mine had a german shepherd that was a hermaphrodite. The dog actually saved her son one time from getting kidnapped by a pedophile. The german shepherd was huge & I do mean huge! I remember sitting on their couch & looking at the shepherd's back from where I was sitting. They did get him operated on to get rid of the female parts. This doesn't happen very often. @lindawhite48813 жыл бұрын
Don't you think it would probably be better to try to help your dog instead of it having"caused a lot of issues over the years" and future issues? I think that would probably be better for the dog instead of having him be a "little princess" I wasn't going to call you out but the more I think about it thinking about the dog having "a lot of issues over the years" seems kind of sick not to help your dog.. especially considering many vets if you spent a few days on the phone would do the surgery for free... And if not if you can't help your animal when it has medical issues because of financial reasons you probably shouldn't have a dog or pass it onto someone who can help it.. or better yet have you and what family you do have a friend's pitch in or save up over the 9 years to help the dog. After 9 years money isn't a excuse to not help your dog if it needs help.

When directed to humans, the correct term would be intersex and many people can be able to live normally with it or never really ever know unless there's some medical reason within the area for a doctor to discover it sometimes. That happened also with my dog and the vets were very surprised. My dog's from a dog shelter and mixed.

I just wish they had gone into more detail on the surgery itself, and exactly what had to be done.

I've owned English Staffies for 30 years, never been without at least 2. I can tell you if a Staffie shows any sort of pain, it's really bad. They're tough dogs. It's never good when they're in pain.

My dog had something coming out of her girly bits every time she went into heat, was told it was a vaginal prolapse, got her spayed and it never happened again.
