Dog Build Series! This is part 4 of a 5 part series on building dogs!
Today is Day 202 of the Metal Relic video challenge! The script is mine, the voice is AI's. I resume by welding on the heads and tails.
Fun Fact: There are more than 30 different types of welding! Types of welding range from simple oxy-fuel to high-tech processes such as laser beam welding. However, only four welding types are used regularly: MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Cored arc welding. I use MiG welding for all of my sculptures.
When attaching the heads, I carefully center them based on the nut I use for the neck, ensuring precise alignment between the legs on the front part of the body. I tilt the heads back slightly, creating the illusion that they are looking up, which adds a dynamic and engaging aspect to the sculpture. The same meticulous approach is applied to the tails. I usually point them up and forward just a bit, giving the sculptures a happier and more lively pose, enhancing their overall aesthetic appeal.
There will be another giveaway coming up very soon so watch out for the details. If you like my content, please share it!
Be sure to follow, like, and subscribe. And as always, thank you for watching, and I appreciate you!
