This was to replace the same smaller crate with this larger one. I couldn't follow the written instructions on how to assemble it to save my life (my neighbour put the first one together) ... lol ... but I remembered that when I ordered this 30" crate, it also had a video showing how to put it together. And ... VOILA ... it was easy. Thank you so much. Love the crate.

Because of shipping tossing around you need a claw hammer and a med size chisel. I had to pry the catch hooks b4 I could get it to lift from the middle and also pry from the sides to get the ends up. I am 5 feet tall ..I had to tag a person to help or I could not have done it alone

I was given one as a gift, and it came without a door. I contacted Lari in what I hoped would be an easy process, as my Bloodhound must be contained when no one is home. Instead of a simple-oh, let's get this taken care of, this Lari has engaged in a weeks long email conversation that still has not resulted in the door that should have come with the crate. I don't know where my friend bought it. I am not going to bother my friend as he was kind enough and generous enough to buy a crate for me in the first place. Since it came without a door and the box was in the way, I had to measure the crate and then find the model number online. This is one of the myriad questions that Lari needs answered in order to simply get me a door or at this point, I would purchase the door (which seems like an excellent side hustle, no?) But would I suggest that you buy one of these online and roll the dice on if it's going to all be there? O, Lord no! What I have right now is a lovely wire cave that my dog enjoys sleeping in, but it is in no way a containment system. Congratulations if yours came with a door. Consider yourself quite lucky. I cannot even get the information to purchase a door that should have come with the crate.

Make sure the plastic pan is on the bottom and the latch isn't hooked. Try lifting on the edge that's over the cage.

I just purchased a 3 month old AKC Registry German Shepard female don’t feel like I need a divider I am trying to give her all the room she needs only purpose for the cage so she don’t chew anything up while we are at work. The thinking behind using a divider is to keep the puppy's sleeping area small so it doesn't soil the area where it sleeps. As the puppy grows you move the divider back to make the sleeping area bigger to accommodate its size. The handles are for carrying the crate when it's folded up.
