And I've read that 1%-2% are white. And they can be brindle, too. Seems they can be about any colour at all, though I always saw them/pictured them as that ginger or sandy colour. I didn't even know there were the three subspecies, Alpine, Desert and Northern. (Excuse me if you've read all this yourself...) Raven is a very handsome Dingo. I hope he lets us get to know him, I'm curious about his temperament.

Just a word for anyone else going through pet grief. I've found some beautifully comforting articles and videos on the subject, which is getting a lot of research and attention these days. For so long, there have been almost dismissive attitudes re: grief about animals vs. humans. For those of us lucky enough to love and be loved by animals, that lack of understanding can add to the pain of loss. Here's to more light on the subject, more coming forward to adopt again after loss. It's not about replacing a precious pet: it's about a new opportunity to make a difference in the life of an animal who deserves a home. Blessings to all 🌿🌈🐾❤🐕🐈🦜

All the dogs are wonderful. But I have Lupus and Sjogren's, I have pain and sensitive skin, I imagine what it would be like to sit with Tank and Chopper. They look so soft and comfortable. So sorry to hear the news re: Tilly. I know you’ll do whatever’s best for her … and yes Luke, it’s such a difficult decision to let go. However, when the pain is unbearable and their quality in life is not what it used to be … then it no longer becomes a difficult decision to make. When it is time, don’t feel you guys have to share all with us. There are times, private family time is just what the doctor ordered! This was really tough to watch about Till Till Luke 😔💔. Have to say, since I saw you at Sash the other week, I had a feeling this might be the latest news with baby girl Tilly 😔. I feel like I'm on the same path at the moment, Josie's pathology revealed she has high grade Sarcoma, an aggressive one.😥. Chemo is not a financial option for me as it would be IV administered, not tablet form. I have no idea how much longer she will be with me. 😔 I totally empathize with you with what you & Sam are dealing with at the moment. Its gut wrenching💔. Till Till has always been a ray of sunshine on The Farm. I really pray that she will make it a little easier for you Luke and Sam in her way of letting you know when it's time. I used to take in death row dogs on a smaller, 3 to 6 dog, scale. Now, at 71, I can't do it anymore and am down to 1 old (13) American Bulldog and a young (2) Boxer. The Boxer loves your videos, which I stream to the TV, and has figured out to nudge the phone and remote when she wants to watch. Then she imitates what she sees, bringing her toys to the TV to play, then coming to me, when it's snuggle time. Smart dog!

Tawny Frogmouths are sooooo frickn cool! (FYI to your U.S. viewers - Frogmouths are in the nightjar family and are related to our nighthawks and whip-poor-wills. ) Thanks Luke for keeping the young bird safe. I was thinking if you had a small basket you could have put the bird in that and wedged it in the vee of one of trees out of reach of the dogs. Your hat would of worked too :) But the trees look so tall there may not have been a place to do that. Haven't watched past the frogmouths yet but it'll be exciting to see the new dingo. And all my love and prayers for Tilly.

Raven is a beautiful looking dingo…Not quite sure why captive dingoes are bred but so happy he is here. The den and deck look magnificent…you are so talented. Chop feels so uncomfortable being watched when he has a toy doesn’t he and lastly, I must say that Moose looks like one of the happiest doggo’s on the farm. Luke and Sam, no doubt you’ve heard this already but, in case not, The Dodo reposted Miss Violet’s video on Facebook this weekend. I’m hoping this will add to your subscribers ❤ My many comments under that Facebook post include the link to this channel so hopefully new fans will come over here too! This was such a gorgeous video despite the extremely sad Tilly. news. As a member, I was already aware but rewatching Luke and Til-Til again was no less heart-wrenching. Raven’s introduction helps ease the hurt with the anticipation of more wonderful dingo adventures to follow but it’s still so very painful. I lost my cattle dog at only 12.5 and it still breaks my heart almost 25 years later that he didn’t live the healthful, long life of so many cattle dog companions.You’ve done so well with Tilly, surpassing the expectations with her prognosis but it’s still too damn soon and too unfair.
