Whats your opinion on ripe avacadoes

I feel like when they get too ripe they only taste nice after being turned it guacamole, for this reason I firmly believe that supermarkets should be forced by law to sell ripe avocados at half the price of unripened as you have half the use for them. I actually find avocados to be overpriced in general, it's an inconvenient fruit that goes disgusting after chopping it half meaning a good amount gets wasted so what I end up paying for is full price for half a fruit. I know keeping the pip inside slows the process but it still ends up looking kinda gross.
