Thank God for your videos. My friends found a HEAVILY matted dog on THE highway.we came across your video. Step by step we shaved this dog. It took us an hour. I think the dog knew wr were trying to help her. Last night she slept like a baby after wefinished the cutting and the bath. This afternoon she gave birth to 4 puppies. We named her lucy. None of us have ever cut hair but your video helped us get it done. YOU ARE AWESOME:)

Another thing that helps with matts, is trying to brush it out first and making small cuts to break the Matt apart. Then bath dog and condition to help with matts. You don’t want to immediately shave it

Very informative video, I used to be a part-time mobile groomer, now I will have my grooming parlor at my home. I subscribed to your channel. It's very reassuring to see a young African American Woman to have good and prospering pet businesses. This dog was very calm with you. Awesome Job!
@Amy-ms6wj5 жыл бұрын
I agree! She is honestly probably the first African American woman I've seen in the business, and that makes me sad. Its actually pretty decent money, and I would love to see some more beautiful black women in this trade! Especially because most of the older white women Ive worked with are sooooo dramatic and catty! 😫 I hope I never get that way. Literally every single boss I've had in the business is always a divorced white woman with tons of rescue dogs at home. And they are never nice to the new or younger women they work with. Getting a compliment out of them is like pulling teeth.

@Chucky Lives Amen!!! 👏👏 as we have come to know, to learn. It all comes back down to skin color with so many. I'm proud of EVERY human that actually takes incentive to be prosperous. Idc what race or gender someone is. We are all human. What I'm most appreciative of here. This dog is extremely comfortable with her. Thats where it's at. The animals behavior around her. Says all anyone should need to know.

Did you use a raw blade.... My dog really needs a cut but I'm terrified of taking to much off and leaving him bald. Any info or feedback would be much appreciated.
@RCGshakenbake2 жыл бұрын
@@mosesjuice2 i use the bare blade on the highest setting to shave my skye terrier on his spring and summer haircuts. He loves it. After having long hair all winter it's a relief for him once it warms up. When fall rolls around I let his hair go wild for winter. Just be careful when their skin folds, such as their ears or legs. You can cut them if you cut at an angle. Just stay even with their skin and don't pinch it.

Thanks so much for this. Our first session went pretty good. We cut it short as he was getting restless. Next time should be better. Subscribed. Why do you recommend a ten blade in the sanitary? I'd figure the number 7 provides more safety against Knicks..

Thank you! I just got my Havanese back from the groomer. Divots, missed spots, nearly shaved throat and only half of her muzzle trimmed. There were no mats (my grandkids brush her out at least 3x a week), and she is the most chilled-out dog with strangers (who might be in danger of being licked to death). So, again, thank you for your help! I've also subbed.

I've been doing grooming on all of the family dogs 🐕 never really have a problem with it, but I have a dog who looks like a twin of the one in the video ,now he's the exact opposite of yours, doesn't like the sound of the clippers I have the same ones that you are using, I also have a cordless one that is silent but of course it is missing and I hope you can help me out with any tips for calming him ( ,no types med. Plz)any ideas he shakes like he's going to have a heart attack maybe a scissors ✂️ cut it just takes so long. Ps thx u for sharing your talent with us you've helped many people.
