God bless you all for selflessly giving up your time to help God's beautiful creature's. If more people like you were out there maybe the homeless population wouldn't be so bad. It's a sin that people get away with abuse neglect and abandonment. In 2011 I rescued a small dog named Ziggy from a crack house. I was a drug addict myself, by rescuing Ziggy he showed me thanks by rescuing me right back one week later. I was overdosing, and he bit me which brought me right out of it, I'm proud to say that from that day on I am living my best life as a grateful recovering addict. Unfortunately I lost Ziggy to multiple illnesses last year. The moral of the story is that dogs are the best medicine for just about every ailment physical or emotional , I learned so much from Ziggy ie: accountability, compassion, how to treat others the way I want to be treated, I learned how to love myself and others unconditionally I learned that I don’t need drugs to live and material possessions aren't that important. I also learned to put others ahead of me. Now can anyone tell me a magical cure that is better than the love, loyalty and compassion of a dog? Very sorry for such a long comment but thank you for reading it have a great day 😀

There are homeless dogs, cats and other animals everywhere, and every country. Although I realize it’s worse in some poor countries like Mexico (where I saw a number of starving dogs) and elsewhere. But go to your animal shelter, there are tons of animals that need adoption.

There, I found a beautiful letter from LFF's Founder. And people, please adopt a stray dog yourself! I did so 5 years ago, and I'm still as much in love with him as the first day I saw him. Me and my Ciffie form a perfect team, and I'm very proud I rescued him from the streets, in this case, from Romania. Many people think, ohh, a stray dog, that's a dog with many problems. True, they have a background, but with much love and patience you'll have a more wonderfull dog than you've could have whished for.
