DOG LYING DOWN IN GROUP SETTING CREATES ATTENTION

If you take your dog to a group setting like a dog park or a play date with a number of dogs, this is something that you might see happen.
Whether it’s playtime or downtime, you will sometimes see that when a dog lies down, other dogs will come over and surround them even if it’s just out of straight curiosity.
For the dog that’s lying down, this may create an insecurity and make them feel more vulnerable.
It’s up to the humans to make sure they don’t get overwhelmed.
