I think their influence is Groovie Ghoulies, mostly. Kepi Ghoulie has been a mentor to them since they were kids. OF COURSE Dog party, the Ghoulies, and Green Day trace back to Ramones (who owe a debt to the stooges, who owe a debt to the Kingsmen, who owe a debt to Chuck Berry, etc.)
