Take the dog out for a walk before you go to work. That's what Cesar usually recommends.

I see my gf keep her three bug dogs in the house ALL day and then just let yhem out for two minutes to let them relieve themselves and she wonders why the dog kept getting up in my face over dinner 3x! Some people shouldn't have dogs if they are not prepared to put the effort and commitment they REQUIRE. They are not on auto pilot.

Cesar is con artist.. yes he knows how to train,, but he NEVER really tells you how to do anything really on a video.. hints here and there but that's it.. you need to PAY for his services

Dogs know when they misbehave. If you don't give them attention they will misbehave because at least then your focus is on them. Its true with cats too. Going through the trash despite knowing not to is the dogs way of asking its owner to give it attention.
