She was sick before. When I first adopted my rescue he was only 3 but would just lay and sleep mostly. At first Vet visit they found a high level of Lymes disease basically same thing Helen had a tick born disease. After he was on medication, two doses he was finally clear and healthy. Halfway through the second dose he started walking lighter and more happy. The next week he was running and playing and retrieving balls, swimming at the lake. He was like a puppy suddenly and still is at 8 years old. The Vet said he probably had the disease st a young age and that untreated disease caused him stunted growth because he is small for a male lab. But we don’t care we love him so much! Can’t imagine life without him now. My other rescue, a little beagle/terrier mix came to me very stressed out and mistreated, so afraid and is now a happy relaxed little guy and loves to be running around in big fields of grass. Rescues rescue us. I wish I had more room for Helen and not so far away.

I was borned in Bucharest and lived untill the age of 18 years old untill I left the country but I remember my father worked in a factory and they had alot of dogs there, the big dog there was called Dix and he was mix of german shepard, he was big but gentle and inteligent, my father use to work night shifts and sometimes he took Dix to our home from the factory, he always stood by the side of my father untill he reached our home where we give him food and a warm place to sleep, there was alot of stray dogs in that time in Bucharest but he never left my father to chase them or anything, even if my father had to travel long distances by foot he followed him and waited untill he finished his work. He died a long time ago but I always remember him when I see videos of my home town stray dogs, you guys are doing amazing work I will donate for helping the poor dogs.

With these types of YT comments and replies it's not necessary because as soon as I click on a message the poster's name or user name appears. As I say, with me its force of habit. It often used in TV or film scripts, again to separate the name of the speaker from their lines. Glad to oblige where I can.

@@samiraziz7840 "I would rather see orphaned children find loving home instead of a stray dog" While its good you have Some! composition Ihop one day you will be lucky enough that your heart will grow large enough to feel for children AND 4 legged critters.
@samiraziz78405 жыл бұрын
Michael Paliden - Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I guess my composition, in your opinion, has not been mixed yet since I don’t have the same feelings for a pooch than I do people. Actually, I do like dogs, and cats, and raccoons, as well as many other 4-legged creatures. They are all part of our animal kingdom. I just have a bigger heart for homeless, underprivileged human beings. As a U.S. Marine that has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and saw first hand what the ravages of war inflict upon fellow human beings, I just have a softer heart for displaced people that arrive at those situations through no fault of their own. I support animal rescue agencies wherever they exist, and feel bad for those pets that cannot help themselves. Respectfully, I personally feel that more resources should be diverted to protecting and properly housing our children and their families, which should be first and foremost, as opposed to spending towards other, less critical organizations.
