Try using a squirter bottle of water to spray your paper ,butchers paper covering the trap ,soil will stick to it and wet paper will conform to the shape of trap .

Hi Josh, well done to you and Ben for dispatching those two Dogs. I hope next time you are lucky and the rest of the Pack - isn't. You mentioned positioning the Traps back from where you placed the Scent. I suppose that would be the measurement from a Dogs front Paw to its Nose-end, whilst craning its Neck forward to take a sniff? Not easy to guestimate. At least the Birthday Present from your Aunty proved more useful than a knitted Jumper, that's 3 times too big. Cheers mate.

Yes that’s right mate. There is a bit of guesswork to get the traps in the right place. Sometimes you don’t get it quite right but it’s all down to experience really

In WA they put Bates out with the traps for the stubborn ones do you have a way to do it with out baiting you dogs?

I don’t think we are allowed to bait traps here like in WA. And no I couldn’t use my dog while trapping if there are baits around.

Good job What brand of the traps are you using. Looks like dogless Bridger, but I couldn't really tell. Never saw a spring jump out like that, but there's a first time for everything Good Luck

I put all that info in the video description mate. But I use the western trapping supplies #3 traps which are very similar to the Bridger #3 but dogless and has a night latch which makes it really nice to set.
