Impressive in such a young pup! His training seemed to be very much based around food rewards (as well as fun & praise). Wonder if the same remarkable results can be achieved with dogs that are not at all food-motivated, via just praise or the fun of learning new things, or whether you really need a canine that is motivated by all three factors to achieve really outstanding results...?

Woow!!! Do you have an own word for every trick? Because tricks like rolling around, spinning around und running around your legs could be named all the same like "turn" or something like this. Or do you connect it with different hand signs?

Hello, it's up to everyone as it suits him, it's not prescribed 😊. Personally, I have a special name for each command, for example, for turn left and turn right, I have two separate commands. We need it for the sport Dogdance, where hand signs can't be used at higher levels. The dog must handle the command himself. So he should know exactly what is required, so there can't be more things of the same name 😊 ... Anyway, I'll teach this later, Rumple only knows the name of a few commands so far.

Hi 😊 Border Collies have a large height range allowed. There are BCs, which have a height of 45 cm in adulthood, others have 57 cm. And it's okay. If you are interested in how big your puppy will grow, look at the height of his parents. It is useless to compare with another puppies as there may be a completely different body structure. 😊

He is a purebred border collie, in the color called "slate merle", which is a relatively rare but still completely standard color for border collies. In general, merle is a very common color in BC (red merle, blue merle, etc.).
