My heart sank when y'all announced Sweetpea Roxie needed more medical attention. Now she's having surgery extremely soon and soon she will be perky, crazy, bouncing off the walls without any issues. Praying for her, praying for the doctors and nurses doing the operation, and that it's very quick. Lets go Roxie!

I am so glad that the surgery is very soon. In the meantime I am sure she will get plenty of love and attention . You did it again, learning on the field. Or near the water rather. Teaching about the color, temperature and level of the water. Nice to see Mindee, Blayden, Cody and Bishop too. You could organise a quiz/game with all the observations and questions which arose. Such as, why there are hardly shells but more stones/rocks on a rivershore? Or why river water is sweet? I like these kind of outings because they show the interesting places of your environment/state. So thank you for sharing and for updating on Roxie and Anavaeh. I think you need a adventure backpack that you keep in the van that you can take with you when your out with the kids and stock it with things like sunscreen, bandages, hand sanitizer, plastic bags for storing things in, etc.. I would love to see the family go on a outdoor scavenger hunt and have people look for certain items in nature or have the family try geocaching.. fyi growing old is mandatory but growing up is a option.. lol it’s good to remember to be youthful at times 😊

What we do with rocks that we find here in Iowa is we paint them. And then we re hide them somewhere around your neighborhood or Arizona from where you're from and put them for other people to find

Try not to worry Addison. I had a very small Yorkshire terrier like Roxie & she had to have surgery for a liver shunt. Thats where the blood bypasses the liver & goes around it. Anyway if she didnt have surgery she would of had fits the rest of her life but if done she had a normal life. Anyway she had the surgery & was 100% fixed. She was very quickly up & running around again. Wishing you Roxie good luck, she will be fine xxx❤
