I have a dog that's been doing that since she was a pup...we had a big male rednose pit when we got her at 8 weeks old. She grabbed his leash on their first walk and refused to let go so we let her do her thing. She walked him every day until he passed in 2019. She won't do it with my other dog now, it was only him. Now she insists on holding her leash in her mouth and walking herself 🤷‍♀️😆
