I have been asked to comment our dogfights!
here is DCS M2k vs Mirage 2000 using Fox 2 missiles - the mighty Magic II !
We did it for fun before shooting the darpa video

nice to have finally a good "DeBrief" from your fight with GS :D super de t'entendre sur le contenu de tes pensé à certain point clé du dogfight, les décisions du pourquoi du comment... C'est pourquoi c'est intéressant de t'entendre sur le sujet. A suggestion for a next Debrief would be great to have you and Growling talking/exanging after your dogfight with a tacview review. As usual, nice work Até.

Nice debrief, if you notice at bottom right corner of the HUD, you will see a straight vertical line and 3 horizontal lines and an arrow, the arrow shows the distance between you and the locked target, the topmost line is the max range of the missile, the middle is where the no escape starts and the bottommost horizontal line is the minimum range, all calculated by fire control radar

I can't get enough of that. I work like hell nowadays, back home I do mandatory stuff, put kid to bed and with little time left I go seeking for Até and Growling doing their business. Still, I'm happy with life like that :-P

Ate, spectacular video. can you explain the fundamentals of when to use burner and when not and what max perform means in this context? i dont think you used burner when going nose high after the merge but then you should have used it nose down?

Yes of course! when your speed is depleted and you have to maintain high turn rates you should use the after-burner even nosed-down. If you don't then your opponend will do and take your tail. You use the after-burner according to your speed not according to your attitude.

Are you using the Magic Slave button? When you have a radar locks it helps getting a Magic lock much more faster.

Hello petite suggestion : sur xplane il y avait possibilité de simuler/générer des conditions météo (je connais pas pour FS) petit vidéo atterrissage avec la météo de plus en plus dégradée
