I have been trimming my two F1 Goldendoodles at home for 10 years and have never gotten the torso to look so sleek, like a lamb. Beautiful. I use a Wahl KM2 with a 10 blade and Wahl metal guards. What is your secret. You are very talented!

You should be using a #30 blade with a little bit longer of a guard. Either a #0 or #1 depending on how long you'd like it. Also thinning shears are miraculous for blending. The blowout has ALOT to do with the finished look as well.

groomer here: prep work is SO IMPORTANT! especially with a fluffy coat! the COC method is amazing! and combined with fluffing while drying the coat, will set you up for such a rewarding after!! hope this helps ☺️

That dog was neither matted nor skinny. No prep work, the comb attachment went through beautifully, he didn’t need shaved! Also, the way you did his face looks bad. Sorry, just does.

1. The caption said the dog was "matted and stinky", not skinny. Learn to read. 2. The groomer did TONS of prep work. The bath, the spray, plus lots of brushing you didn't even see probably because it took forever. 3. The groomer clearly shows where the mats are when she's drying the dog. 4. This dog was not shaved. Not even close. If he was, he'd be absolutely naked. You said yourself the groomer used a "comb attachment". When you shave a dog, it's with a naked 7 or 10 blade. 5. Educate yourself before you comment rude, inaccurate and idiotic things.
