Lester sold Homer to me(Blues Brothers Kennels).A look thru the Sporting Dog Journals of1985 you can see Blues Brothers has a two page spread with some of the dogs owned by me and my brother Tommy Mullins. You can see that Sundance was also on our yard and owned by us.We and Jones were partners in 84 85 and 86 and matched dogs together.Mtn. Man first sold us Spookie. He had rolled her with her belly sister and kept the sister and sold us Spookie.I went back to Mtn.Mans place and bought Homer and his dam Midnight.Jones asked me to let him buy half of Homer. We were partners so I let him buy half.On the condition he was not to be matched.I wanted to breed Homer to Sundances daughter's and Sundance to Homers daughter's.He agreed to the condition. In 86 I lost my freedom and Jones matched him without asking me.He also matched Sundance without asking.I would not have agreed to either. Both dogs were to valuable to risk. This is the true story on Homer. On Sundance ,I bought him from Young. He did not come from Mrs Loposays yard.Young got him from Verne Morgan of Flordia.

Facts👍.Once you finally meet lots of the old timer "bible belt" dog men/woman deep in the hills, it's a different type of ambiance especially if it didn't pertain to the dogs.Too what they didn't like to tell you is how much of a part the immigrant/blacks/hispanics played in the dog game seeing that upon arrival to the US the Irish immigrants that bought dogs here had to settle around the "ghettos" to say the least and that's how alot of the animals got out when it was a "family or gentlemans" sport but that's a whole different story as told to me from very old guys that had just as good or actually better dogs they put in the hands of some of the more popular dog men/women just didn't want the fame.Same page never thought being a up north person I'd have gotten a chance to sit, talk and spend time with some of them, never was a breeder but I could condition one with the best of them, since I didn't sell or peddle I got to hear alot of sh*t, wasn't a threat far as that was concerned so I was told alot of sh*t over the years. As with anything just because the commercial aspect is large don't always mean the end product is better.🤫🤫

@@1diggitech It's because these game dogs, from the area of the Appalachian mountains. Also throughout most of the south, the dogs ancestors were slave hunting dogs. They have a nature to hate people with a darker complexion. Why? Because their great great great granddog was a slave killer
