Dogs rescued from suspected dogfighting operation in NC

Our Animal Rescue and Response team is currently on the ground rescuing dogs from an alleged dogfighting operation in Gaston County, North Carolina. Our rescuers arrived on the scene to find dogs living outdoors with heavy chains around their necks. Many appear to have suffered severe injuries and have scars across their faces and legs as a constant reminder of the pain they have endured.
