If you want a beagle then you need to be ok with chaos. For a family with kids they will just blend in but for a person or couple that like quiet and peaceful nights beware. The beagle will get into everything. They are incredibly curious and will chew up everything in the house if not watched carefully.

I guess Beagles in USA are breeded smaller lol. All the beagles over here have tendency to get fat and greedy, and males can be 50lbs+ later in life and not 20-30. Especially if there is other dogs in the house, from whom they steal extra food.
