could you share information on how to teach manners to dogs around guests.... i have a 7 month old GSD hes very protective of the house...once the guest is inside he is okay with them... but keeps sniffing around the guest... he follows command otherwise but around guests he doesnt listen very much... we dont want to tie him up when the guests arrive.. just want him to meet new people and get more friends... but sometimes he makes guests uncomfortable with his sniffing and barking if taken away

I will recommend 3 days fasting protocol make a schedule and give proper healthy feed leave it for 1 hour if he refuses then keep it aside repeat it daily on scheduled time he/she will refuse 1 day or 2 but he will start eating on 3rd day due to hunger.
