So the what sounded similar to "la la la la la la" in the chorus of the English version was actually kids singing "Dartachan" from the Spanish version! I often wondered what they were singing when I saw the English version in the mid-80s as it sounded out of place to the rest of the English theme.

If you listen, there are other backing vocals that are the same in the English theme too. They just used the Spanish theme and recorded the main lyrics in English.

Dogtanian was my favourite cartoon when i was little so i really only know the english version that theme has been in my head at least 25 years (its so annoyingly catchy but yet so awesome) but it was great to hear the others especially the original spanish one

Man, I love you so much for uploading these!!! The only thing is in Brazil they speak Portuguese, so we call their language Brazilian Portuguese, just like in Argentina they speak Argentinian Spanish and not just Argentinian.

Spanish is the best version. the one in English is a bit corny and contrived. This is more authentic.
