I really appreciated your review. Thank you. He performed Mars this week on IUs palette and they added a cello. Wow, I highly recommend. And he sang Love Wins All, ending in duet with IU. Absolutely glorious.

Thanks for the reaction. You've become my favorite reactor because I love the thought you put into interpreting each song. I've decided that D.O. is a romantic. His songs are always about real everyday love conquering the hardships that go with it; a soulmate type love. I just love his style. I know people want him to do R&B but his style seems to be more of a storyteller; similar to Jason Mraz. Thanks again.

My favorite song from this album is “ Simple joys” . I love the instruments and the lyric is so beautiful… when you grow up older, you realize that the little daily things, unexpected things become your source of happiness … you focus in those things and not in big dreams as when you were younger… I mean, even though you have big dreams in your adult age and work for it, you learn to appreciate and focus in what you have in your daily life because the life teach you that what you take for granted, maybe tomorrow it’s not there anymore. Sorry, I allowed myself to ramble on about my personal interpretation of “simple joys”. If you didn't listen to it, I recommend you listen to it… in fact, all the album is wonderful

The show you speak of is called BeginAgain. I think they do a lot of covers with talented vocalists.He actually sang Rewrite the stars with Lee Suhyun, the sister from AKMU, when they hosted a show and it was transcendent. You should definitely check it out for yourself, it’s short but oh so sweet.

I recommend to react the whole album Even though I'm a Blink, I'm so obsessed with D.O damn I can listen his voice the whole day. My affection for him is as same as my Blackpink. I'm in love with🐧❤

Actually I think his target audience is the general public...he is rebranding himself from D.O. the idol to Doh Kyungsoo the actor and singer. And we wish him the best for this move. But D.O. the idol still lives in EXO. Pls react to his duet with Zico and IU and you will see he can go to any genre as a singer.

Politely disagree, I dont think it is a rebranding. This has always been D.O., lets remember that he has always chosen the songs he has sung for his solos and that includes his solos from SM. It always has this positive, healing, singer songwriter type of vibes. Mars mv also has similar imagery to Rose. He has always said he enjoys this type of music, Ed Sheeran, etc. And in Expectation and Blossom interviews he always empahsizes his wish to provide comfort, strength to the listener. And we know he has always been the most un-idol like of idols despite being ridiculously talented at everything. He has always maintained this unpredictable personality, refusing to do aegyo and act cute, refusing to show abs and act sexy, despite the fact that he is naturally cute and sexy… Mars and Popcorn has always been him, if anything we just see now a confirmation of what brings him the most joy as a performer. As he said on palette, he chose Mars and Popcorn because listening to the songs and singing certain lyrics made him happy. He is a multifaceted performer, no need to box him into one style or brand. As IU said she was very surprised that he chose Love wins all, but to me it wasnt surprising choice given it suits him very well and actually how he sang it has similar vibes to how he sang About Time - this gut wrenching, desperate passionate style of singing.

I've been eagerly waiting for the video thank you,the story of Mars is actually inspired by the story of the Little Prince, and I expect there are some quotes from the book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. the album is really good Some said that the rain at the end of the video symbolizes his death, which means that he sacrificed himself to leave for the sake of his lover. There are some scenes from The Little Prince, such as the bird scene.
