Today, we are taking thrifted embroidery hoops to create gorgeous floral wreaths!
I’ll be using a doily and a lace panel inserted into each hoop to form the base of the wreath. Then we will use felt and satin in beautiful colors, to create fabulously fantastic fabric flowers to embellish our wreaths.
These wreaths are the perfect accent piece for your Shabby Chic or Boho decorating style!

They are gorgeous! I can see all different color combinations! I like your idea of putting the card stock so you can glue everything that way. You always do a nice job. I appreciate the close ups at the end.💮🏵️🌻🌼

Thank you so much Carol! I like to reuse my materials so it keeps my supply costs down. Gluing the flowers to the card stock helps me use that same embroidery hoop over and over again!

Hi Becky, I've watched some other shabby style crafters but their projects looked more messy that I'm not interested in making myself. Since i came across your channel I just want to say how much I enjoy your taste, your choice of projects and supplies are so beautiful, and like the variety to include simple sewing. Thank you for sharing with us 🎉🎉🎉

You do such meticulous work! They both came out great. I’m a lace person, so I’m especially drawn to laces and beautiful materials, like the pink poly and oh my, that doily!! Awesome. The hanging laces topped it all off so beautifully! Would you suggest trimming the outer hoop in ribbon also, or paint it?
@kindashabby
@kindashabby Жыл бұрын
Thank you Gizmo! I agree, anything with doilies or lace has my heart. Painting the hoops in a complimentary or contrasting color would be lovely, but one can never go wrong with ribbon!

Thank you for the awesome idea. They are very pretty. I would probably use artificial cabbage roses like you did on the big one and the victorian ribbon really looked so nice. I am not a fan of the felt flowers for myself.

Love your videos/ideas. You could have left your hoop apart(the one that didn’t fit) and sewed onto either the outer OR inner hoop and had a hoop left over for another project! I do this often. 😊
